Tickets Go on Sale October 17 for INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
INDYCAR returns to Monterey for season finale September 20-22, 2019

Tickets for the much-anticipated return of INDYCAR to Monterey County’s WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca will go on sale October 17, beginning at 8 a.m. PT. The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey that serves as the season finale on September 20-22, 2019 will be the first time the green flag has been waved at an Indy car event on the 11-turn, 2.238-mile road course since 2004.

Fans of America’s premier open-wheel series will get to see the new generation of top INDYCAR drivers take on the iconic road course and the famed “Corkscrew” turn. The track has deep roots in the series with unforgettable moments from 22 years of hosting Indy car events from 1983 to 2004 that include Bobby Rahal’s four consecutive victories from 1984 to 1987, Mario Andretti’s final race in 1994 and Alex Zanardi’s daring overtake of Bryan Herta in 1996 that became known simply as “The Pass.”

The thrilling racing action will be heightened by the crowning of the 2019 INDYCAR champion. For the past 13 years, the champion hasn’t been decided until the last race on the schedule, most recently with Scott Dixon securing his fifth career title.

Advance ticket pricing will be available at the on sale date of October 17 with General Admission & Paddock ranging from three-day tickets for $160 to single-day options starting at $25 for Friday. Tickets, preferred parking, VIP and Flagroom hospitality and vouchers for souvenir programs and event posters will be available by visiting www.WeatherTechRaceway.com or calling 831-242-8200 on October 17 at 8 a.m. PT. Premier and reserved camping opportunities for the IndyCar event will be available by calling 831-242-8200 beginning October 17.

September’s Monterey Speed Week will kick off with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event on September 13-15. Guests of both racing weekends will have the opportunity to save with preferred pricing on a combination package for both IMSA and INDYCAR in order to enjoy the full Monterey racing experience.
