The Monterey Peninsula’s love affair with world-class racing traces its beginnings to the inaugural running of the Pebble Beach Road Races in 1950. Those sports car events quickly outgrew the public roads of the Del Monte Forest and a beautiful new road racing facility was born on November 9, 1957.
When the sun rises in Monterey on Thursday, September 27, visitors to Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca will be greeted to the largest ever Porsche reunion.
There will be more historic race cars, more legendary drivers and guests, and more activities for families than any one day can handle. That’s why this Porsche reunion has extended into four full days to envelop guests into the Porsche experience.
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca has multiple entrances for guests to experience Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI. For added convenience for Highway 1 travelers, the Watkins Gate entry will be open to all inbound and outbound traffic. This entry is accessible off Reservation Road in Salinas.
South Boundary Road will be open to all traffic.
Blue and Green Parking Pass holders and motorcycles may enter the facility via the Highway 68 entrance.
Please see the attached sheet with detailed directions for added convenience.
Championship winning Porsche race cars, the engineers who designed them, and the men who drove them to victories around the world will be reunited around the track for Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI (RRVI) at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca near Monterey, California, September 27-30.
The 2018 theme “Marque of Champions” focuses on the legends of the brand and will bring together the world’s largest gathering of Porsche race cars and enthusiasts.
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is looking for a few volunteers to help during the upcoming Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI September 27-30.
As a volunteer you will work one day at the track, and in return you will receive 2 complimentary 3-day passes for the event. On the day that you are working, you will also be provided with water, soda and food. Our volunteers have a lot of fun, and it is great look behind the curtain of a major motorsports event.
If you would like to volunteer during these races, please send an e-mail to Lisa Sterrett, indicating your interest.
All volunteer positions are filled on a first-come basis. You are asked to wear dark colored, closed-toe shoes, long or short dark colored pants and a volunteer t-shirt which we will provide. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
