Hunziker Design Provides Custom-Designed Uniforms for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Renowned automotive fine artist Nicolas Hunziker and his team at Hunziker Design have designed an exclusive staff collection for the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca team that will be unveiled at this week’s Superbike World Championship race July 8-10. The grey and white staff shirts feature the iconic track outline in orange with the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca logo for easy identification and are custom-fitted for an overall tailored look.

The Hunziker apparel collection has its roots in the original Hunziker paintings that create wearable art to provide motor racing enthusiasts an exciting way to express themselves. Hunziker was also selected as the apparel provider for the 550 participants in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion August 18-21. “We are very pleased with the design, fabric quality and high level of service from the Hunziker Design team,” commented Gill Campbell, CEO and general manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

“The first time I came to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was when I got my racing license so to now see our company, Hunziker Design, being selected as an official apparel supplier is a bit surreal. It’s a tremendous honor,” said Nicolas Hunziker.

The Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca season is in full tilt as international teams are arriving in Monterey for the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship GEICO Motorcycle U.S. Round and featuring the MotoAmerica Honda Superbike Showdown of California July 8-10. A weeklong slate of fan activities leads up to the intense on-track racing of the World Championship’s lone American stop.

Next up is the world-renowned Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion that celebrates the 100th anniversary of BMW on Aug. 18-21. Approximately 550 historic and authentic race cars from nearly all eras of racing compete in 15 race groups to celebrate motorsport history and the legends behind the wins. A special guest this year is the indomitable David Hobbs.
