Twilight Cycling Ride is Wednesday, October 16 – Come Join the Fun

The Naval Postgraduate School Cycling Club will be hosting the Twilight Cycling ride at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on Wednesday, October 16 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. 

The cost is $10 per rider and all riders must have a helmet.The Twilight Rides are informal and the 2.238-mile track will be open to all levels of cyclists. There will also be a seven-lap circuit race, as well as a gravity race from the top of the Corkscrew.

Riders will experience the thrill of riding Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as the race track includes a challenging 300-foot climb and an awe-inspiring descent down the world-famous Corkscrew.

And since dusk is coming sooner each day, the friends at Light & Motion – www.lightandmotion.com – will be providing complimentary lights to demo during the ride. Be sure to talk to the experts who will be onsite to pick one up. 

The NPS Cycling Club is the largest student run club on campus. They are intrinsically involved with the NPS Foundation and well respected throughout the community. The club has a range of riders from first timers to seasoned podium finishers. The club is comprised of military members, instructors, support personnel, spouses, and foundation members from the Naval Postgraduate School and the Defense Language Institute in Monterey.
