Monterey Bay Racing Team to Host Twilight Ride
Preview the Sea Otter Classic Course on April 13

The four-day cycling festival called Sea Otter Classic will be held April 15-18, 2010 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. For cyclists/racers who want to preview and pedal the circuit course that will be used during the Sea Otter Classic, the April 13 Twilight Ride hosted by the Don Chapin Monterey Bay Racing Team will offer that opportunity.

Circuit riders will experience the thrill of riding Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as the course includes a challenging 300-foot climb and an awe-inspiring descent down the world-famous Corkscrew.

The Don Chapin Monterey Bay Racing Team (MBRT) is hosting the Twilight Cycling ride on Tuesday, April 13 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per rider. The Twilight Rides are informal and the 2.238-mile track will be open to all levels of cyclists, including children.

MBRT is a grassroots cycling team that pride themselves in introducing the sport of bicycle road racing to aspiring athletes of all ages. The remaining Twilight rides for 2010 include May 12 (in association with 16th Annual Monterey County Bike Week), May 19 (with the American Le Mans Series), June 16, July 21 (with the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix), August 10 (with the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion), September 15, October 20, November 17 and December 15.
