AMA Pro Racing Adds to the Weekend’s Race Excitement

America’s rising motorcycle stars will be out in full support of the MotoGP™ World Championship at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. AMA Pro Racing brings their own fan following with a strong group of well-known competitors, as well as some of the brightest newcomers.

AMA Pro National Guard Superbike features two-time defending champion Josh Hayes, who is joined by new teammate and former Daytona SportBike standout Josh Herrin, battling it out with America’s finest racing talent, including Blake Young, Ben Bostrom, Roger Hayden, Larry Pegram, Steve Rapp, Geoff May and more.

In the AMA Pro GoPro Sport Bike class a variety of brands and configurations compete on a level playing field, putting the emphasis on rider talent. The class provides some of the best racing with packs of 10 or more bikes often competing for the win.

AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport is a showcase of America’s future motorcycle racing stars today. This proving ground class is designed for up-and-coming riders to compete on bikes that are only minimally modified from what can be found at a Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda or other motorcycle dealerships.

AMA Pro Racing’s three classes will be practicing, qualifying and racing throughout the weekend ensuring plenty of action on the track. The first race is on Saturday with the AMA Pro Motorcycle Superstore.com SuperSport 45-mile race. Then on Sunday, the AMA Pro Daytona Sport 45-mile race in the morning and the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike race concluding the weekend’s events with its 50-miler.
