2019 Major Events Schedule

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca announces it thrilling 2019 major events schedule.

March 28-31 | Intercontinental GT Challenge California 8 Hours - The SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge California 8 Hours presented by Pirelli World Challenge returns with wheel-to-wheel action in what is the longest endurance race on our calendar. Tickets on sale December 5. 

April 11-14 | Sea Otter Classic - The 28th annual cycling classic is regarded as the world’s largest cycling festival. It is a four-day “Celebration of Cycling” and hosts nearly 10,000 professional and amateur athletes and 70,000 fans.

May 3-5 | Trans-Am Speed Festival - The professional Trans-Am racing series makes it maiden visit to Monterey, along with historic and vintage race cars from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), to challenge the 2.238 mile road course. Tickets will be available soon. 

May 9-12 | Ferrari Racing Days - The Ferrari Challenge North America and Corse Cliente with historic Formula 1 cars return to Monterey. There is something magical about a field of Ferrari race cars challenging this iconic track. Whether you’re a Ferrari enthusiast, motorsport fan or simply fascinated by Italian thoroughbreds, the Ferrari Challenge is for you to enjoy. Tickets on sale December 5. 

July 12-14 | Monterey Motorcycle Festival featuring MotoAmerica - TBA

August 10-11 | Monterey Pre-Reunion – Kicking off the famed Monterey Classic Car Week will be more than 300 historic race cars competing on the track for two full days.

August 15-18 | Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion – One of the largest and most prominent historic car races in the world, with more than 550 authentic and period-correct race cars competing each day. A special feature in 2019 is a tribute to 50 years of IMSA. Additional tributes will be to Aston Martin for its 1959 Le Mans win and 100 years of Bentley. Tickets on sale December 5. 

Monterey Speed Week

September 13-15 | IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship – International drivers and teams compete in the country’s premier sports car racing. The action is nonstop among the prototype and GT sports cars when the teams tackle the challenging circuit on their way for championship points. Tickets on sale December 5. 

September 20-22 | IndyCar Grand Prix - The excitement of INDYCAR returns to its spiritual road racing home after a 14-year absence. This will be the season finale where the champion will be crowned in this premier open-wheel series. Tickets on sale now.
