Ducati North America will bring the Ducati Island experience, one of Ducati’s largest fan events of the year, to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the World Superbike Championship race weekend on June 22-24. Ducati Island is a place for Ducati owners, motorcycle enthusiasts and fans from all over the world to experience the Ducati brand firsthand.


MotoAmerica Mourns Losses In Racing Accident

A chain-reaction, multi-bike incident on the first lap of today’s second MotoAmerica Superbike/Superstock 1000 race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has resulted in the deaths of two competitors.   

Bernat Martinez, of Alberic, Valencia, Spain, was transported from the raceway by ambulance to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) in Monterey, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was 35.

Grids are Set for Sunday’s Superbike World Championship Races
Day 2 Recap

Britain’s Chaz Davies continued his hot ways by grabbing pole position for Round 9 of the Superbike World Championship at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Fans descended on the circuit to witness not only Davies’ first pole position in World Superbike, but also see the first-ever MotoAmerica champion crowned in Yamaha’s Joe Roberts.

Chaz Davies Turns Fastest Lap on Day 1 of Superbike World Championship

The early morning marine layer quickly gave way to bright sunshine on the surrounding hills and 2.238-mile Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for a full day of Superbike World Championship Free Practice sessions 1 and 2. And at the end of the day, Aruba.IT Racing-Ducati SBK Team’s Chaz Davies sat atop with the fastest time of the day recorded in Free Practice 2.

World Superbike Championship Racing Excites Crowds and Teams
Top 2 split by 0.051s in first European race of the year

In the opening 18-lap encounter at MotorLand Aragon, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) claimed his fourth win of the season, equaling his previous best for number of victories in a year in just five starts. The Ulsterman came out on top at the end of an enthralling last lap, which saw him lose the lead only to retake it on the final corner from fellow Briton Chaz Davies ( Racing – Ducati Superbike Team) who finished second, missing out the victory by a scant 0.051s.

Ducati enthusiasts across North America will flock to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship, GEICO Motorcycle U.S. Round July 17-19, 2015. They will be cheering on their favorite Ducati riders and celebrating the third annual presentation of Ducati Island during this event. It is an entire world of Ducati located right in the middle of the race action between turns 2 and 3 of the world famous circuit.


MotoAmerica Heats Up the Track

The eni FIM Superbike World Championship storms into Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for its third consecutive year July 17-19 for its only U.S. appearance. And with it comes the all-new MotoAmerica series, which is the new home of the AMA Superbike Series.
As the seventh stop in its inaugural season, MotoAmerica promises thrilling action for competitors and racing fans. As the support races for the Superbike World Championship weekend in Monterey, fans will be able to see Superbike/Superstock 1000, Supersport, Superstock 600 and KTM RC Cup
