Ferrari Racing Days

This three-fold Ferrari Racing Days event includes Ferrari Challenge, Corse Clienti F1 and XX Program. Here’s an exceptional opportunity to experience the sheer power and high-revving notes of Ferrari Formula 1 cars at speed as part of the International Corse Clienti program. F1 cars are the ultimate form of motorsport technology and will be complemented by the ultra-exotic Ferrari XX track-only supercars, in addition to full racing grids of turbocharged 488 Ferrari Challenge thoroughbreds.

An impressive field of international competitors will line up for the second round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli. 60 drivers representing 19 countries and 10 different manufacturers will compete for wins in GT3, GT Cup and GT4. A record 16 GT3 entries from eight manufacturers will vie for the overall victory at the third annual California 8 Hours.

Two-time California 8 Hours winner Kelvin van der Linde aims for a three-peat in the No. 29 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo that the 22-year-old from South Africa will be co-driving with Germans Markus Winkelhock and fellow 2018 victor Christopher Mies.

2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge Drivers Champion Tristan Vautier returns as part of the Mercedes AMG lineup in the No. 44 Strakka Racing entry. Along with British co-drivers Lewis Williamson and Gary Paffett, the Frenchman will be one of the contenders to keep an eye on. Vautier’s credentials also include an Indy Lights championship, experience in the IndyCar series, and a current ride in the DPi category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Speaking of IMSA, Renger van der Zande is hoping his heroics at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca can translate to GT3 endurance racing. The Netherlands-based driver will team with German Mario Farnbacher and Belgian Bertran Baguette in the No. 30 Honda Team Motul NSX GT3 Evo.

Hot off the heels of their Bathurst 12 Hour triumph, the Porsche factory lineup of Matt Campbell (Australia), Dennis Olsen (Norway) and Dirk Werner (Germany) will try to build off their strong start in the No. 912 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Audi, Mercedes AMG, Porsche, Bentley, BMW, Nissan, Honda and Ferrari will all be represented in the GT3 Overall category. The GT4 and GT Cup groups will include entries representing Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW and Ford.

Please avoid the main entrance at Highway 68. All vehicles are instructed to enter WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca via South Boundary Road. Please ignore race traffic signs that deviate from directions below.

South Boundary Entrance will be open to all in-bound and out-bound traffic. Vehicles will be parked on a first come/first served basis, with some parking areas restricted to vehicles with parking passes only.

From Highway 1:

  • Take the Highway 218 (Exit 403) Seaside/Del Rey Oaks exit
  • Travel East for approximately 2 miles
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore Blvd Rd.
  • Turn right on South Boundary Rd. and follow the signs to the Raceway

From Highway 101:

  • Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Hwy 156 exit
  • Travel West on Hwy 156, which turns into Hwy 1
  • Take the Highway 218 exit East (Del Rey Oaks) and travel for approximately 2 miles
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore
  • Turn right on South Boundary Rd. and follow the signs to the Raceway

The SCRAMP Board of Governors has full fiduciary governance, including financial oversight and short- and long-term planning, for the not-for-profit 501(c)(4) organization. The board consists of local business and industry leaders.
