Simon Pagenaud swept the month of May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and extended Team Penske’s Indianapolis 500 legacy in thrilling fashion, holding off Alexander Rossi to win the biggest race of them all, the 103rd Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday.
Pagenaud pushed the No. 22 Menards Team Penske Chevrolet across the finish line by 0.2086 of a second ahead of Rossi, the 2016 Indy 500 winner. It was Pagenaud’s first win at “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” and extended Team Penske’s record for Indianapolis 500 victories to 18.

MacNeil dominates Saturday’s Ferrari Challenge feature race
The second day of Ferrari Racing Days had an abundance of on-track activity that harkened to the past, present and future of the legendary auto manufacturer and racing team. A feature race in the third round of Ferrari Challenge North America won by Cooper MacNeil and demonstrations of the future-leaning XX supercars and iconic 333 SP prototype enthralled fans. Many would agree that the highlight of the day was Corse Clienti Formula One.
As the Official Luxury Vehicle of Monterey County’s WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Lexus is expanding its Experience Amazing campaign to the legendary race circuit. Lexus completed a new platform with a stunning Lexus LC angled on top to welcome visitors prior to this week’s Amgen Tour of California, presented by Lexus, and June’s U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. The display is centrally located as visitors and race teams enter from South Boundary Road, which is the main entrance during the premier events at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
