Player registration and sponsorship opportunities open for golf tournament at The Club at Pasadera

A golf tournament is being hosted by the Laguna Seca Raceway Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization separate from the County of Monterey-owned WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, which was formed to complement enhancement projects at the world-renowned race track. The Laguna Seca Raceway Foundation (LSRF) was formed to direct and raise funds toward key projects at the raceway that provide infrastructure upgrades and amenities to keep it a viable destination for racers and fans worldwide.

Rossi Tightens IndyCar Points Race with Statement Victory

For Alexander Rossi, an utterly dominant drive to victory in the REV Group Grand Prix presented by AMR was just the tonic he needed.

The Andretti Autosport driver led every lap but one Sunday on Road America’s demanding, high-speed permanent road course, winning by 28.4391 seconds over Will Power. It gave Rossi a second victory in the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season and the seventh of his four-year career. More importantly, it closed the 27-year-old Californian within seven points of the championship lead with seven races remaining.

IndyCar points Leader Newgarden makes late charge to win Texas

Josef Newgarden came seemingly from nowhere to win the latest electrifying NTT IndyCar Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The 2019 championship leader fended off Alexander Rossi in a thrilling duel over the final 10 laps to capture the DXC Technology 600. Newgarden, in the No. 2 Fitzgerald USA Team Penske Chevrolet, won by 0.8164 of a second to collect his 13th career win, third this season and first on a superspeedway.

Big Weekends for Team Penske, Dixon and AIM Vasser Sullivan in Detroit

It was a huge weekend in the Motor City for both INDYCAR and IMSA with the NTT IndyCar Series competing in a doubleheader and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship hosting their round at the Detroit Belle Isle street circuit.

An incredible May for Team Penske bled into June in both series with Josef Newgarden winning a rain-shortened Race 1 in IndyCar and Juan Pablo Montoya and Dane Cameron capturing the overall win from the pole position during Saturday’s Chevrolet Sports Car Classic in the Acura Team Penske DPi.

Pagenaud Holds Off Rossi to Win Indy 500

Simon Pagenaud swept the month of May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and extended Team Penske’s Indianapolis 500 legacy in thrilling fashion, holding off Alexander Rossi to win the biggest race of them all, the 103rd Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday.

Pagenaud pushed the No. 22 Menards Team Penske Chevrolet across the finish line by 0.2086 of a second ahead of Rossi, the 2016 Indy 500 winner. It was Pagenaud’s first win at “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” and extended Team Penske’s record for Indianapolis 500 victories to 18.

Pagenaud Wins Wet-and-wild INDYCAR Grand Prix

Simon Pagenaud overcame the elements and the competition to win the INDYCAR Grand Prix in thrilling fashion.

Pagenaud passed five-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon for the lead on the next-to-last lap on a rain-soaked Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and pulled away to collect the 12th victory of his Indy car career and first in a 23-race span. Three of those wins have come in the INDYCAR Grand Prix.

Herta Becomes Youngest Race Winner in Indy Car History

At the second race on the NTT IndyCar Series schedule, the newest – and youngest – winner in Indy car history was crowned.

Colton Herta won the INDYCAR Classic at Circuit of The Americas on Sunday, in just his third series race. At 18 years, 11 months, 25 days old, the second-generation driver became the youngest to win an Indy car race in the sport that’s more than a century old. The previous youngest race winner was Graham Rahal, who was 19 years, 3 months, 2 days when he won at St. Petersburg in 2008.

Newgarden Wins Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

Josef Newgarden kicked off the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series in victorious fashion, winning the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday.

The Team Penske driver earned his first victory on the 14-turn, 1.8-mile temporary street course that also incorporates a runway of Albert Whitted Airport and the 11th triumph of his eight-year NTT IndyCar Series career. Newgarden, who started second to teammate Will Power, won by 2.8998 seconds over reigning series champion Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing.

Highlights from INDYCAR Spring Testing

21 teams from the NTT IndyCar Series took part in INDYCAR Spring Testing at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Friday, February 8. Teams spent nearly five hours getting reacquainted to the 11-turn, 2.238 mile road course before rain intervened.

Max Chilton set the unofficial fastest time at 1 minute, 11.3490 seconds followed by rookie Felix Rosenqvist (1′11.3289), Ryan Hunter-Reay (1′1.3490) and Jack Harvey (1′11.3680) on a rain-shortened test day at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Firestone Announced as Title Sponsor of the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to host season-ending NTT IndyCar® Series race September 20-22

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and County of Monterey announced a two-year agreement for the Firestone brand to be the title sponsor of the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The announcement was made in advance of the start of the 2019 NTT IndyCar® Series season.

INDYCAR names NTT as entitlement sponsor of IndyCar Series

INDYCAR announced during the North American International Auto Show that global information technology and communications leader NTT has signed a multiyear agreement to become the IndyCar Series title partner. In addition, NTT becomes the official technology partner of INDYCAR, the IndyCar Series, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 beginning in 2019.

Please avoid the main entrance at Highway 68. All vehicles are instructed to enter WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca via South Boundary Road. Please ignore race traffic signs that deviate from directions below.

South Boundary Entrance will be open to all in-bound and out-bound traffic. Additionally, the Barloy Canyon Entrance will be available. Vehicles will be parked on a first come/first served basis, with some parking areas restricted to vehicles with parking passes only.
